FACE is Palatine High School’s only fine arts publication.

Each year students from all classes gather submissions of writing and visual art from classmates to compile the FACE booklet. Many students are featured each year in the publication, and we have fun designing and publishing the booklet. All PHS students are encouraged to submit writing or art for publication.

If you join the FACE club, you’ll help plan parties, select student work to be published in the book, and learn to use Adobe Illustrator to create the layout and publish the final book. No experience needed – you can learn on the job!

Every Fall and Winter, FACE members host parties, which are open mic opportunities for students to read their writing and present their artwork, and perform music. We often enjoy performances by the Improv Club at these parties as well.

The FACE booklet is finished by Spring Break and is released to the student body in April.
